Movie night/day!!! But by myself! :-( oh well its ok! :-) which ones the funniest??!!
30 Minutes or Less ~ R ~ 2011 ~ When pizza deliver boy Nick (Eisenberg) gets kidnapped by two men in monkey masks (McBride & Swardson) & gets a bomb strapped to his chest, he has 10 hours to rob a bank with the help of his best friend Chet (Ansari). From all the talk & reviews of how bad this movie was, I was expecting to be disappointed. However, I actually enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't great, but it was still pretty funny. I've always enjoyed Eisenberg, McBride, & Swardson each individually, so it was cool to have them all together in one film. Though I do have to say that the acting wasn't great at times & it seemed that the cops were barely trying to catch anyone at any point in the movie. Also, I think the film was really trying to accomplish making a movie where the characters drop the f-bomb or at least swear in every sentence & that got really f'ing annoying. It's only alright to do that in movies like 8 Mile, where cursing helps make the setting more realistic, not like a regular town like this movie takes place in. 30 Minutes or Less wasn't a waste of time, but it wasn't a huge use of it either. 6/10
