Made my lil' brother 30 homemade Milky Way Chocolate Cupcakes (using @tia_daisy family Chocolate Cake recipe. Delicious!!) with Caramel Buttercream. BUT... I ran out of frosting and had to eat the bare cupcake. AND... I ran out of Milky Ways, so I'll probably have to eat another. That makes 28 cupcakes for little brothers Birthday! I don't think he'll mind. He likes yellow cake better anyway! ðð

I'm so tired of those coarse corn muffin things they keep palming off as cupcakes! Not to mention they're always hella expensive & way too sweet! I mean, call my tastes pedestrian, but I actually really like the old school Pillsbury/ Duncan Hines box mix cupcakes! With my Mom's homemade chocolate frosting (basically a box of powdered sugar, cocoa, & a half a lb of butter!). Sooo good! Ok. I've made scratch cakes, so the least they could do is use cake flour for god's sakes! Sheesh! Ok! Stepping down from the soap box! And stomping away, mumbling. #kthanxbye.

I didn't care, it saved me a trip to Michaels Crafts to get some cute little boxes as I was short on time. I would have paid more. The checker on the other hand felt it was silly to charge me at all.
