I know of a man who, by the time he was a teen, was already deeply involved in crime and violence in El Paso, TX. When he was a child, his father died of a heroin overdose, and his mother would lock him in the closet for days while she partied and would verbally and physically abuse him. One day his mother met Jesus and got radically saved. But by then her son was grown and hated her and God. One day he was fighting, punched someone through a window, the glass cut halfway through his arm, he bled excessively, and was pronounced dead...but was revived. His mother visited him in the hospital and tried to tell him about Jesus, he cussed her out and tried to get up even though he had IVs in his arms and was still recovering from it being nearly cut off. As she walked out she said, " The reason the devil wants your arm is because one day you'll use it to lay hands on the sick. "......Today he is an evangelist. He has pastored a couple churches including pioneering a church in Bolivia. *** The day his mother visited him and spoke these words (in faith) to him in the hospital she had been fasting for him for 2 weeks. He eventually got radically changed hy Jesus and is saved today because of her faith. *** NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD. Do you believe that ??? ---The Pastor's name is Roman Gutierrez

"A Long Gaze into Glory" — SpiritFire for 05/24/2013 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God's right hand. — Acts 7:55 nlt Key Thought Stephen had been chosen to serve widows because he was full of the Spirit. Stephen had spoken the truth of Jesus in the face of great hostility by the power of the Spirit. Stephen had warned those who opposed his words to not resist the Spirit like their ancestors before them. And now, when the enemies of truth had stoned the life out of Stephen's body, we are told an amazing truth: the same Holy Spirit who had shaped Stephen's life in this world was now letting him see over the horizon of history and see the Lord Jesus in glory. How important is the Holy Spirit? For Stephen, the Holy Spirit influenced, qualified, empowered, and brought home to glory this man of God! May the Spirit do the same in each of us! Today's Prayer O Father, be at work within me through your Holy Spirit. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
"Your grace abounds in deepest waters. Your sovereign hand will be my guide where feet may fail and fear surrounds me. You've never failed and you wont start now. And I will call upon Your name. And keep my eyes above the waves. When oceans rise my soul will rest in Your embrace. For I am Yours and You are mine." Crater Lake (2) | Oregon | Hillsong United
I don't know if you guys see what I see. But I think this is just brilliant! In his album titled song,"Beautiful Things" and realising the details in this album art, I finally get it!! His lyrics as he sings about how God make beautiful things out of dust and out of us. Gungor, you're an aspiration. Thank You.
It seems like we all know that we should all love one another but never do you hear it put like this. We are indebted to love, like we owe other love. It's a beautiful way to not only understand it, but to actually apply. Amazing. you!
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. - Ephesians 6:11 _____________________________________ As in all warfare, the two essential elements in victory are knowing your enemy and knowing your resources. "Satan’s number-one objective is to destroy our joy of faith. We have one offensive weapon: the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God (Eph. 6:17). But what many Christians fail to realize is that we can’t draw the sword from someone else’s scabbard. If we don’t wear it, we can’t wield it. If the Word of God does not abide in us (Jn. 15:7), we will reach for it in vain when the enemy strikes. But if we do wear it, if it lives within us, what mighty warriors we can be!" - John Piper
