Lifters are a curious breed. My fitfam friends of IG, I often find myself pondering whether it is lifters who are unusual, or perhaps it is in fact the rest of society. Lifters defy the cognitive space of most. Their blood-born passion, desires and lively discipline is not the stuff to float the vast majority of boats. Lifters take their body and their mind to ultimate extremes. Heck, lifters only stop once their muscles and their thoughts reach a sharp and stinging fatigue. Lifters listen to the whispers that resound from their soul. They nourish their body with logic, eating in accordance to an overarching goal. The life of a lifter is structured and calculative. Yet the life of a lifter never stagnates or becomes physically degenerative. Lifters follow an unspoken law, they share a secret vernacular as they scout one another out upon the gym floor. To be a lifter is to stand apart from the rest. To be a lifter means to exist in a state that forever projects your personal best. My fitfam of IG, I want you to believe and trust in me when I say: embrace your inner lifter and let him or her dictate your chosen path or way. For to be a lifter is something other than the ordinary. To be a lifter means that your life and person is not dictated by the prescriptions of society. Don't be ashamed. Be proud. Lift heavy and show the world what you are all about.
"I'm saying ma what's your name?" "My name is Kay" "Where you from?" "I'm from Brooklyn" "I'm saying so why you with that bird over there? Now I don't want to sound like a hater" "Because he can work the middle" "Ah okay but I can too!" "Let's find out" lmao my favorite part 😅
