I was tagged by the stupendous @torvilho to share photos! An impossible task of course as I have more than 9.. But here are some of them.. The rusty sawmill plate for its amazing texture & color, the cow for her poised portrait pose, my gorgeous son Torrin, my fabulous partner Gregg, a friend Isabella for the innocence, beauty & freedom of childhood, a shack, a rusty Aussie landscape, gum tree thru vibrant red rusty hole, and textured post & rail fence π

I knew it was going to be a hard thing to do ... then it occurred to me that I've probably started 9 tags that I'm proud of & that I could just use the first pics from those ... & this is what I found ... L-R T-B: (probably still the only pic there! just a bit of fun because @lollygoth loves locks so much & this is such a killer lock); (LOADING ZONE is the first stand alone pic in that gallery); (... y'all know how much I love that tag); (a great little gallery for all your filthy rusty holes); right in the middle is the first pic in (a joke tag that has been kept alive by @nundra & @jademoo. it's like a Tim Burton scene); (this tag totally went ballistic over about an 8hr period ... it's since slowed to a crawl!); (hahaha! I'd forgotten all about this tag until Song Bird @boxcarbessie went searching & found this crate I'd spray painted with "Q: AUTHORITY"); (I tagged this pic & added the tag to my copy/paste note & forgot about it ... since then there have been a number of my rust lovin iger mates who've been adding & it must be just about time for a feature. someone said on this pic "I'd love to see your book of rust" & the tag was born); finally, (I started tagging these when @ikon_pennie (I think) suggested that this pic looked like a Japanese kanji. so far I think I have 17 of them). thanks to everyone who contributes to my little tags, I really do love it.

I love this tag & totally dig how, once you start to add to it, it kinda grabs you by the short & curlies & you start seeing opportunities from the obvious to the absurd, from the hilarious to the sacrilegious!! so, to all those who participate, thanks heaps & a big Johnny Salute to y'all!! &, for those featured, feel free to screenshot or repost ... if you want!

in the middle of this collection is the initial shot in a little gallery I started called . it was a little joke I was having along with seeindustrialaustralia & seesuburbanaustralia in response to the seeaustralia thing that was happening. I don't get rural enough to add very often but a handful of people have been growing the little gallery until now where we have over 280 shots. this collection showcases the work of @yoshirirry @nundra (to the left & right, respectively of my dark tree shot), who both contribute regularly & do great work, & @jademoo, who has added the lion's share of photos to the gallery (top & bottom pics). Thanks my Australian, rural sisters, for making something out of nothing!
