What's creepy about The Last Of Us is knowing that fungus can grow in your body. The ear is very susceptible to fungi growth. It freaks me even more because I suffered of a fungal infection some time ago, and the fact of knowing that something like that, growing in my body, is scary. Fungus are like a hybrid between plant and animal. They nourish from dark and wet places and feed on your flesh. And the ear is a perfect place.
