jemistories Demi's POV- I stopped a mile away from the prison center. I got out of my car and ran as fast as I can. At the gates stood three body guards, two of them talking and the other two standing by. Behind them were workers in harness fixing the wires of the electrical building. Two of the bodyguards walked away back inside the prison building and the other stood still in their positions. I saw a man approach one of them and led them back inside. The other guard that was left stood in the middle of the gate. I sighed and hid behind a bush. It was really late at night and I had to get Joe out of here before dawn. I saw the guard tilt his head to talk to one of the workers. I smirked and made my move running behind them. I was totally invisible since the only light that was working was the flashlight the workers had. I made my way to the back of the building and ran by every permanent window. All of them had their lights out meaning that they would be asleep. I saw light at the distance which is the ony cell that had visible lighting. I smiled after seeing Joe with his face in his knees wearig orange overalls.
jemistories I sighed and grabbed one of te drivers in my duffel bag twisting a seemingly impossible screw. Joe snapped his head up high and widened his eyes at me. I waved and got the last screw out before unlatching the whole glass window. "What are you doing here?!" Joe whispered running to me. "Shut up and follow me." I said quietly as he shook his head and sighed crawling through the window. I latched the window back. I held his hand as we ran through the whole campus seeing nothing but the light from the observatory tower. We were almost caugh by the light, but sighed of relief as we passed it. I looked back at the guard who was still talking to the workers. "I repeat, what are you doing here?!" He asked after we ran a mile and shoving him in my car. "I can't wait six years Joe." I whispered starting the engine. "Demi, don't do this!" He exclaimed very disappointed. "I had to…Adam." I said after taking a long pause as he furrowed his eyebrows. I sighed and grabbed a folder handing it to him. "Mr. Adam Lovato." He said shaking his head at the birth certificate.

She grabbed the black duffel bag that her dad uses for tennis. She grabbed the tools from the garage and shook her head not really knowing what she was about to do next. Demi took the clothes that Joe left with her in case he slept over. She ran to the computer and looked up directions. She grabbed her driver's license. After putting on all black clothes and her black beanie, she went to see if her parents were asleep and they are. Demi shut her eyes walking down the stairs on the way out. She looked back once more and shook her head in disappointment of what she was about to do. She walked in the car and started the engine entering the address in the navigator before backing out of the driveway and heading to California State Prison. Tears streamed down her eyes knowing that she only had one chance to make this happen or they will both be in serious consequences. She was in some way about to illegally rescue Joe.

Demi sighed and lazily followed Selena up the Jonas's doorstep. Selena's finally got her out of her house after three days. "You perfectly know I don't wanna be here." "So I heard you guys were going on vacation next month." Selena said starting a new subject. "Yeah…Apparently it's not vacation. It's job errands." Mr. Jonas said sighing. "So where are you guys going?" Demi asked. "They're holding a meeting in Dallas." He said as Mrs. Jonas walked back in with four envelopes and a magazine in her hands. She sat down next to her husband and picked one of the letters to open. She opened two which were about bank accounts, and one about their work. Mr. Jonas opened one as his eyes widened. Demi looked at the envelope it came from as 'California State Prison' were written on top. She looked at Mr. Jonas to see his expression. "They're taking Joe to California State Prison for another six years of jail sentence." He said.

Normal POV Demi leaned on Selena's shoulder crying as she tried to calm her. It's been three days since Joe had gone to prison, and Demi's not taking it well. She's been very gloomy and stayed in her room most of the time. She's cried frequently carrying a picture of her and Joe. Selena's been telling her that she can see him, but she refuses out of an unknown reason. "Why did he have to leave?" Demi whispered slowing down her sobs as she leaned on Selena's shoulder. "They were his choices Dems. Obviously there's something wrong with him." Selena said leaning her head on Demi's. A tear fell down Demi's cheek as she cried quietly thinking about Joe's decisions. She closed her eyes and fell asleep on Selena's shoulder crying. - The doctor came out of the examination lab with a tube in his hand and a portfolio in the other. He sat down on the chair laying his things out on the table. "Have you found anything yet?" The sheriff said who sat across him. The doctor nodded opening the portfolio revealing papers of investigations. The sheriff waited for his answer as he held up the tube filled with some liquid substance.

jemistories Demi's POV No…no, no, no. I was walking towards Joe's house, but stopped after seeing a cop handcuff him and shove him in the back seat ofthe police car. I saw Mrs. Jonas lean on Mr. Jonas' shoulder crying. Mr. Jonas looked sad and disappointed at the same time while he had his arms crossed. Tears started to line my eyes as I ran to them not believing this is happening. "Wh-what's going on?" I asked stuttering as the sheriff looked at me carrying his notepad. "Nice to see you Ms. Lovato," He said. "Joseph has been on his third offense of underage drinking. He will have to serve six months in jail, and has the permanent loss of license." I cried as the sheriff looked at me with grief, but gave no mercy. He went in the police car and drove away as I took one last glance at Joe in the back seat of the car. Mr. Jonas sighed and hugged me as I continued to cry. - Joe sighed and shook his head as he walked in a jail cell. He sat in the corner burrying his face in his hands, tired, worried, and upset with himself. What happened to him? What happened to his life? He thought about everything. He thought about what could've been if everything was different. Six months is so long to him that it felt like years. After everything he's done, he doesn't think that his family will ever forgive him let alone see him. A tear ran down his cheek as he thought of Demi. He never got to say goodbye and that he loved her…
Episode Thirteen- "You're the only one oblivous about it. It's one hundred percent noticable." Selena teased as Demi sighed while they walk down the sidewalk in their sweats. "I don't like him that way, Sel. He's just a brother to me." Demi denied as Selena giggled shaking her head. Demi rolled her eyes at her as they continue to jog down the neighborhood. "I don't like him Selena." Demi said again as Selena laughed. "You see, you guys have been best friends for like forever, so there is no legit reason that you don't like him." "That's a reason…because I've known him for so long, I don't wanna break our friendship." Demi said as Selena lauged again. "Psh, even I know that's not a valid reason. Demi said staring at her as her eyes widened and darted down the sidewalk. ~ The officer handcuffed Joe as his mother cried on his dad's shoulder. "I'm sorry dad." Joe whispered as the sheriff brought him to the passenger seat. Mr. Jonas shook his head as the sheriff talked to them about Joe. Joe just stared at his hands on his laps that were cuffed. He was on his way to the police station, not for observation, but for jail sentence.

Joe didn't bother to answer as he laid his head back on the pillow. Moments later a man in a white lab coat carried a black office bag with a stestoscope aroung his neck came over to the Jonas house. He checked on Joe injecting a needle through his forearm collecting blood samples. Later on the doctor talked to Joe's mom. "Mrs. Jonas, how old is Joe?" He asked. "He's twenty, why?" The doctor sighed and went up to Joe. "You seem fine Joe. Just a minor cramp…have you experienced nausea this past couple days?" "Yes." Joe answered dully. "Fatigue?" "Yes." "What about breathing problems?" He asked as Joe looked at him while he wrote thing down on his notepad. "Yes." Joe said slowly. "Okay, here, take this twice a day. Sleep on time and eat." The doctor said giving Joe a pack of medicine. "You should be fine by a couple of weeks. Just inform me if things are ocurring the same way." Joe nodded as the doctor walked out of his room to Mrs. Jonas. "How's Joe?" She asked. "He's not hungover, but he does have alcohol in his system." He said as Mrs. Jonas arched her eyebrows. "What do you mean? He went shopping with girls all day yesterday." "I don't know ma'am, but I'm one hundred percent sure that he drank alcohol and…something else." "What do you mean?" "It won't be identified unless I bring it to the lab." He said as Mrs. Jonas nodded and he walked out of the house on his way to the police station.

Joe said before hanging up and giving it back to his mom. "They're running tests on me." He said. "For what? They already know you got drunk and he already calculated the amount of beer you consumed." Demi said as Joe shrugged. ~ Joe walked in the expert's lab seeing Mr. Young next ro a doctor in a white coat. "Hello Joe. Nice to see you again." Mr. Young said as Joe nodded at both of them. "We'll just run a few simple tests at the alcohol in your blood." The expert doctor said gesturing Joe to sit down on a chair. He was injected with a needle as blood sucked through. The doctor did a couple more things before cleaning Joe up. "We'll inform you about your results in a week." He said as Joe nodded and held onto the wall. "Are you okay?" The sheriff asked immediately running to him. "Yeah, just a little dizzy and drowsy." He said as the officer nodded and walked outside while Joe sighed and followed.

Joe said as Demi shook her head and sighed standing up. "Just rest okay? You're definitely hungover." She kissed his cheek and walked off downstairs to Mrs. Jonas. Joe sighed and burried his face in his pillow groaning again. ~ The officer walked in the police station greeting his fellow co-workers. He walked in the clinic talking to one of the experts. "Hi, yeah I came to talk about one of the probation students." The sheriff said as the expert nodded telling him to continue. "Yeah, well I caught him and he's on second offense right now, but when I measured the alcohol in his blood, this came up." He took the blood calculator out of his pocket and handed it to the officer. After further examinations, the doctor decided to visit his lab. Noticing some unusual substance appear he sighed shaking his head at the outcome. "We need him for further observations." The expert said as the sheriff nodded his head walking out of the laboratory.

I asked as they chuckled. "Just drink a damn can Joseph. It won't hurt you." "Hangovers hurt you dumbass." I said as they chuckled. "We just wanted a gulp from you, it wasn't our choice to drink four bottles Jonas." David said opening a can of beer making sure I heard the fiz and the pop of the can. "That's not gonna work." I resisted even though I was close to caving in." "You know you want some." Zac said as I shook my head. "What do you want from me?" I asked. "Nothing, it's just entertaining." David said putting a can in front of my face as I gulped and lost control drinking the beer as they laughed. There's something in the alcohol that makes me want more every time I drink it. There was something really unusual about it, I've seen my dad and a few of my family members drink beer, but they have similar reactions which made mine completely different. Then it occured to me…the beer they were giving me were intoxicated…I wasn't a hundred percent sure of my speculations, but deep down I know…my drink is intoxicated with drugs.

In the middle of their discussion, Joe walked in the house trying to act sober, but lost his balance and tripped. “Ugh!” He said closing the main door as the officer looked at him weirdly. “H-hello th-there.” Joe said in a complete stutter. He stood up straight, but tripped again. The sheriff shook his head as he took a piece of paper and handed it to Joe’s father. His eyes widen as the officer walked to Joe putting something in his mouth which showed the amount of alcohol he consumed. The officer looked at the blood alcohol calculator and noticed something weird about it. He arched his eyebrows as he sighed and talked to Joe’s parents before walking out of the house. “JOE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?” Joe’s father shouted in fury as his mom walked off not wanting to hear their conversation. “N-noth-thing.” Joe replied making his dad angrier. “JOE DO YOU SEE THIS?! IT SAYS ANOTHER THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ON IT!” He yelled showing Joe the paper. “You’re turning into an alcoholic.” Mr. Jonas said calmly as he closed his eyes not wanting to be in this situation. “N-no I’m n-not dad.”

When Joe dropped off Demi at her house he was walking home when he encountered David who was carrying cans of beer and was smirking at Joe. “Hey Joseph, long time no see.” David said as Joe shook his head walking the opposite direction. David chuckled and caught up to him. “No.” Joe said glaring at him and changing his direction again.
