It occurs to me that sometimes people just want a bit of undemanding company to bolster their ego. Nobody should have to think that is all they deserve, ESPECIALLY if they are a little 'broken', yet of course it is those that fall for accepting emotional crumbs. A decent human being will not prey on the broken to fill some emptiness in their life without having any real interest - they don't 'use' people in the first place. And yet... I miss whatever it was that was there, even if it has completely blocked me from ever wanting to give someone a chance. I need to feel in my heart what my head knows.
I hate falling in love. As soon as I do, I'm beat down, and spit on. Why? I try so hard.
Isn't that what life's all about?! Love, finding that one person you can be yourself around, that makes you want to be better, do more, keep going? Not trying to "find" love, but if you've got it already, you better believe and recognize how lucky you are because not a lot of people find true love! Hold onto it and don't let it fade, love requires lots of patience and work, never ending. One day....
