I've had some questions about my macros, so here we go. 👉 My goal right now is to gain lean muscle--keep that in mind. If you have a different goal, then your macros are probably going to be different. Ha and even if your goal is the same, your macros will still likely be different. Everyone's body responds in a unique way to what they put in it, depending on their lifestyle, genetics etc. So this is what currently has been working for me. 40/35/25. 🔹I eat the majority of my carbs before and after my training sessions (usually in the mornings) and on my off days my carb intake usually goes down (varying in percent based upon the energy I plan to expend that day). 🔹Protein is pretty evenly distributed throughout the day. 🔹My fat intake is important to me--I love fats 💚. I think a lot of people tend to cut their fats more than necessary, which can cause major fatigue and can actually sometimes cause your body to hold onto the existing fat that you have--which most of us don't want. Eat your fats guys! Keep them primarily monounsaturated and polyunsaturated--some saturated is good in small amounts.🔹As far as total caloric intake, I keep it around 1900-2000 (also varying depending on day to day activity). 🚀 It's not rocket science y'all. A lot of it is just taking time to plan out your day and doing research. 📖 I have spent an ungodly amount of time on the internet and in books reading, sifting..educating myself--which I'm still doing. I don't know everything, or even close to it. But, I know enough to have made steps for myself.🔹And experimenting...you don't know what works for you until you try it. So pick something and go!
