"What will happen when California turns into a dust bowl?" The drought is REAL. Each and everyone of us CAN make a difference to conserve water. Here are a few ways to do so: ***2mins or less showers (literally time yourself), turn off water while shaving or brushing teeth. Put buckets in your shower to water plants. Flush less. Wash dishes when you absolutely have to. Drive a dirty car. Give thanks for the water you do have. Pray for rain everyday. Dance for rain.*** Sadly, the reality is that the drought is at an extreme level but that does not mean we can continue being ignorant about the truth because hey, maybe our actions of awareness won't make a difference tomorrow but it will for future generations!!! And that has to count for something. I want my children to experience the joyous feeling of WATER. Don't you? This is the time to ALL come together and do the little things that we can to conserve the water we do have right NOW. We are all made of WATER. WATER is LIFE and we must fight for our LIVES right here, right now! || 📷: @user
Wow, trees dead likely linked to our 4-year drought… We really need rain in this state. Hey Texas, share some of your rain! Pics taken from around San Jose, CA, near Tina’s place (Mimi Hair Express). I was getting my haircut this afternoon since we were attending a wedding the very next day. (Saturday afternoon, May 23, 2015) Weather update: High pressure was building off the coast. There was enough residual moisture this day from the last departing weather system, creating afternoon and evening t-storms over higher elevations but pretty much all other areas saw mostly sunny skies with above normal temps. By Sunday, mostly sunny skies and warmer temps would prevail… It looks like our fellows in Texas are enjoying all that extra rainfall!
I love a good praise break (when my knees cooperate) 😀😀 but my current mood is worship!! @user @user
