文化庁 国立近現代建築資料館 National Archives of Modern Architecture, Agency for Cultural Affairs / Yushima, Tokyo 開館記念特別展示 《建築資料にみる東京オリンピック》 1964年国立代々木競技場から2020年新国立競技場へ Tokyo Olympics in Architectural Documents from the 1964 Yoyogi National Stadium to the 2020 New National Stadium 左手奥の模型は現在の国立競技場、手前が国際設計コンペで最優秀賞に輝いたザハ･ハディドによる新競技場の建築模型。個人的な趣味で言ってしまうと、暴力的なまでの流線形とスピード感で押し切るザハのプランよりも、洗練された曲線と可変的な空間構造が持ち味のSANAA案の方が断然好きなのですがね…。 .

文化庁 国立近現代建築資料館 National Archives of Modern Architecture, Agency for Cultural Affairs / Yushima, Tokyo 開館記念特別展示 《建築資料にみる東京オリンピック》 1964年国立代々木競技場から2020年新国立競技場へ Tokyo Olympics in Architectural Documents from the 1964 Yoyogi National Stadium to the 2020 New National Stadium 国際的にも評価の高い日本の近現代建築。それらが誕生する過程で生まれた膨大な数の図面や模型などに的を絞り、その所在場所や保管状況を全国的に調査。場合によっては自ら収集･保存し、研究を行い、展示･公開していく。そんな建築資料のアーカイブ拠点を目指してこの5月8日に正式オープンしたのが、この国立近現代建築資料館です。いわば世界に向けたジャパン･クールの情報発信の建築版といったところでしょうか！ その同館では現在、開館記念特別展示として『建築資料にみる東京オリンピック』を開催中。1964年の東京五輪に向けて丹下健三によって構想された国立代々木競技場をはじめとする一連の建築プロジェクトの図面や模型の展示のほか、2020年の五輪招致に向けて建て替え計画が進む新国立競技場の国際設計コンペ案なども紹介。最優秀賞を射止めたザハ･ハディドのプロジェクトに加え、ザハ案と最後まで勝敗を争ったSANAA案や伊東豊雄案などもパネル展示されています。 6月14日(金)までの開催。入場無料。なお同館の名誉館長は安藤忠雄さんが務めています。 .
